Quakers who worship in this 1785 brick Quaker Meeting House will be on hand to interpret the events related to the Underground Railroad activists John Hunn, John Alston and Daniel Corbit, all of whom lived in the area.

Records held at Swarthmore College's Friends Historical Library indicated Hunn, Alston and Corbit were known agents on the path taken by Freedom Seekers in lower New Castle County. An interpretation of a probable hiding place is shown in the upper level of this meetinghouse. Adjacent, to the west, is the setting for two benches by the side of the road, one sponsored by Appoquinimink Friends at the site of Hunn's farm.

Parking is available on site. No restrooms available.
